Commemorative TAP Cards
Commemorative TAP cards are specially designed TAP cards that recognize significant cultural and community events, heritage months and transportation initiatives. Commemorative TAP cards celebrate the diversity of Los Angeles County and support TAP’s mission to make fare payment equitable and accessible for all riders.
The first commemorative TAP card was created in 2012 for the opening of the G (formerly Orange) Line Extension. Since then, over 200 unique TAP cards have been created and distributed throughout LA County and continue to grow in popularity among frequent riders, collectors and transit enthusiasts.
