- 1. How can I add my 20 free regional rides to my TAP card at taptogo.net or on the TAP app?

To load your LIFE 20-Ride pass on taptogo.net:
- Log in to your TAP account.
- Click “My TAP Cards.”
- View your TAP card that is registered with the LIFE program to receive monthly benefits. You should see “20 Free Rides Available!” next your LIFE card.
- Click the “Add LIFE 20-Ride” link.
- Confirm your monthly benefit is correct and click “Add 20 Free Rides”.
- Confirm “LIFE 20-Ride (Pending)” was added in the Passes column of your card.
- Please note your fare will take up to one hour to be available for use.
- If you have trouble adding your pass, please call TAP Customer Service at 866.827.8646.
To load the LIFE 20-Ride on the TAP app:
- Login to your account on the TAP app.
- Click “Cards” in the bottom navigation bar.
- Select the TAP card which you registered to receive your LIFE benefits.

- Choose “Regional Pass.”
- Select “LIFE 20-Ride.”

- No, LIFE discounts cannot be added at a TAP vending machine (TVM).
- 6. How does fare capping work for Metro riders that are enrolled in LIFE?
- Each month, Metro riders who are enrolled in LIFE can add 20 free regional rides to their TAP card. Once all 20 rides have been used, they will participate in fare capping, and pay per ride with Stored Value until they reach the 1-day or 7-day cap. LIFE participants who don’t ride Metro can use their monthly LIFE discount to purchase a transit pass from any LIFE participating transit agency.

- 8. Can unused rides from my LIFE 20-Ride pass be rolled over to the following month?
- Yes, unused rides may be rolled over to the following month. A TAP card can hold up to eight months of LIFE 20-Ride passes, including the one currently in use.
- 9. I have more than one TAP card. Can I add LIFE passes to all of them?
- No, LIFE discounts can only be added to the TAP card that is registered to receive the program benefits. Each household member who is eligible to receive LIFE benefits must have their own TAP card.
- 10. What can I do if my TAP card is lost, stolen, expired, or damaged?
- Contact TAP Customer Service at 1.866.827.8646 to transfer your LIFE benefits to a new TAP card.
- 11. If I am unable to add a LIFE pass within the month, can I add it retroactively?
- No. If you are unable to add a discounted LIFE pass or a LIFE 20-Ride pass during the month, you must forfeit your benefit for that month.
