The last day to use Metro tokens is Friday November 29, 2019. After that date, tokens will no longer be accepted and no refunds will be given for unused tokens.

Until then, you may use your tokens at any TAP vending machine to load a 1-way trip to your TAP card. Using a TAP card instead of tokens is the safest and most convenient way to travel throughout LA County.

TAP cards can be purchased and loaded:

• Online at taptogo.net (must have a TAP account)
• By phone at 866.TAPTOGO (must have a TAP account)
• At more than 450 participating vendor locations across LA County
• At TAP vending machines located at all Metro Rail, Silver Line and Orange Line stations and the El Monte station
